Dear Colfax Families,

Tiger Tales May 2nd

Hello Colfax Family! This month we will continue talking about using a growth mindset and introduce the chart below to help guide discussions and support students. This chart is adapted from a book by Arthur L. Costa, Leading and Learning with Habits of Mind. In his book he states, “They are the characteristics of what intelligent people do when they are confronted with problems, the resolutions to which are not immediately apparent.”

As always, please feel free to contact us if you have any emotional or behavioral concerns regarding your child. We are in Room 105 and our phone number is 720-424-8750.

Thanks,

Cristina Rodriguez and Gabriela Castro
