Dear Families,

I hope that you will join us this Saturday at a family trip to the Museum of Nature & Science. This trip is completely free and transportation is provided. We will leave at 8:30 a.m. from Colfax and return around 12:45 p.m. What a great way to spend time together as a family and explore an awesome museum! Unfortunately, no one under age 4 is allowed on the bus but you can always meet us at the museum!

Dear Families,

Our family trip to CU Denver, our first Healthy Cooking for Families night, and our Multicultural Music Night were lots of fun. Thanks for coming out!

Today we are sending home the Denver Public School’s Parent Engagement and Satisfaction Survey. This survey is very important! The results of this survey will affect our school’s School Performance Framework rating. The SPF is a system for evaluating schools. Our school will be rated on how well we serve students and families using the results from this survey. The results will help us know what is working and which areas need improvement. Dear Families,

I hope you had a wonderful break with your child! I want to remind you that there is NO SCHOOL for students on Monday, April 13th. This will be a planning and assessment day for teachers.

We have a TON of exciting family events coming up in the next few weeks. Please join us for as many as you can!

  • April 10th: Perfect Attendance Ceremony (month of March) at 8:10 a.m. in the Gym
  • April 13th: Family Trip to CU Denver at Auraria Campus. Bus leaves at 12:30. Please sign up in the Main Office ahead of time.
