About Me:
I have always had a passion for teaching. I love building new relationships with families and my students that I hope to continue after your child has left my classroom. I am a Denver Native and grew up in North Denver attending Valdez Elementary, Skinner Middle School, and graduating from North High School. I have a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education which I received from UNC. I have been in education for 25 years, 9 as a para and 17 as a teacher, all of which have been in Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grades. I am a mother of 3 grown children and a grandmother of 5. I love hiking, eating and hanging out with my besties. This is my 3rd year as a Colfax Tiger and I am truly loving it. I look forward to instilling an excitement for learning in my littles this school year.
