About Me:

While I was still in school in Brazil to become a teacher, I had my first job as a teacher assistant in ECE. I then taught Portuguese in Brazil in middle school, ESL for adults, and was a teacher for 1st and 2nd grade. I went back to ECE because it is my happy place and that is where I like to be. I have been at Colfax for 7 years, and found my other happy place here, which is a pretty good combination.

I am from Brazil, graduated with a degree in Language and Literacy Education, with a specialization in Early Childhood Education. I completed my ECE equivalency here in Denver at the Community College of Denver and graduated from CU Denver with a MA in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education.
