Health Office

Hello Colfax families,
My name is Laura, I have been a Colfax tiger since 2021. Colfax is the first school I have had the pleasure of working at and I believe it is a truly special place. My family has had a lot of teachers and paras within it, but I only realized I wanted to work with kids after my nephew started growing into a toddler. Since I work in the health office, I get to make relationships with students in all grades and feel like I gain 250+ nieces and nephews every school year. My family is Peruvian and immigrated here to Denver shortly before I was born, my culture is very special to me. When I am not at Colfax I like to read, try out creative hobbies, spend time with my family, and cuddle with my 2 cats on the couch.  I also live in the West Colfax area, so I get to see many families around the neighborhood, say “hi”!
