Hi!

My name is Lauren, and I am a new addition to the Colfax team this year. I have been a School Nurse since 2011, and with the DPS team since 2015. I am originally from Montana, but have been living in Colorado since I attended CU in Boulder in 2003.

Being a school nurse brings me so much joy, and I look forward to getting to know you and your family in the upcoming school year.

I have a service dog named Walter, who is also a certified therapy dog. He will join me as part of the Colfax team this year.

Hello Colfax families,

My name is Laura and I have been at Colfax since 2021. My family is Peruvian and moved here just before I was born, so my Spanish accent might sound like a little of this and a little of that. I am fully a DPS kid, starting at Cowell Elementary, then Lake Middle School, and finally graduating as part of the West High cowboys. Colfax is the first school I have had the pleasure of working at and I believe it is a truly special place. When I am not at Colfax I like to read, cook with my loved ones (I hate cooking by myself), spend time with my family, and cuddle with my 2 cats on the couch. I also live in the West Colfax neighborhood and you may see me walking, say hi!
