About Me:

This is my 17th year in Arts Education, and my 9th year at Colfax as Creativity Coach (Art Teacher)! I am a transplant from California where I worked in private Catholic schools teaching Music, Drama, PE, and Visual Arts before moving my family to Denver. I have a passion for collaboration, and helping every human find their creative voice.

I grew up in Los Angeles California, and fell in love with performing and creating at a very young age. I graduated from Chapman University with a BS in Theatre, and went back to school at Loyola Marymount University to earn my teaching license and a Masters in Educational Leadership in an Urban Setting.

When I am not in the classroom, I love to spend time with my two teens, my dogs and my friends. You can find us gardening, crafting, singing, hiking, swing dancing, playing Dungeons and Dragons, and watching movies. We love to visit art galleries, museums, and live performances of all kinds!

Classroom Wish List:

Molly Drewry

Music Teacher

About Me:

This is my 2nd year teaching elementary music at Colfax. Prior to this position, I graduated from College of Charleston in Charleston, SC with a BA in Music Theory and Composition and a BA in Psychology, and taught piano lessons for several years. In addition to teaching at Colfax, I have continued teaching private piano and voice lessons to children and adults.

This is now my second year in Colorado, and I am loving it here. I love spending time in nature with my dog Shadow and exploring our beautiful state, especially hiking, camping, kayaking, and swimming. In addition to spending time outside, I of course love making music! I love to sing and play the piano, and have some solo projects in the works that I hope to release soon.

Hey Colfax!

This is my 11th year teaching at Colfax. I started off as a 3rd grade teacher and I was able to stay at Colfax six years ago when I became the Physical Education and Dance teacher.

I grew up in Denver, Colorado where I developed a strong interest in sports and being active. Although I never had any formal dance training, I have always loved to let loose and move my body to music and this is one of my favorite things to do with students.

I still enjoy dancing and being active with basketball, rugby, wakeboarding, camping, and all the Colorado activities with friends and family. I also love going to student events including chess, theater, dance, sports and all types of extracurricular activities so please let me know.
