The program aims to be a valuable resource to children, families, and schools by providing additional mental health support and addressing the needs of children who are experiencing emotional, social or behavioral difficulties so that they are better able to focus on the work of childhood. Colfax Elementary has partnered with the Children First program for over 10 years to support students and their social-emotional needs.
