Hello! My name is Corina, but the students know me as Ms. CoCo. I was born and raised in California, and decided to move to Colorado this past June. I have an extremely close relationship with my family, so moving here was a very big step for me. I graduated from CSUDH with a BA in Sociology. I have been working with kids for over 10 years; this is my second year full time at an elementary school, but my first year here at Colfax. I believe working with youth is my calling, and I couldn’t be happier to be blessed with such an amazing job and community. In my freetime I enjoy painting and camping! After years of searching, I have found these are hobbies that truly rejuvenate my mind and soul. Still, I am always open to incorporate more activities to enhance that self-care lifestyle.
